Chasidy Jaquith
Adaptive (Therapeutic) Riding Instructor and Vacation Program Coordinator
Chasidy grew up in Carlisle, MA and has been riding and working with horses for over 20 years. She has a bachelor's degree in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Production from Green Mountain College in Poultney, Vermont. She has always had a passion for helping others and has been a dedicated instructor at BINA Farm Center for almost 3 years. Chasidy enjoys seeing all her participants grow, succeed, and achieve their day-to-day goals. She worked at the Carlisle Public School in the special education department as a paraprofessional servicing students both in and out of the classroom and loves to incorporate tools and strategies from the classroom into her lessons at BINA. With all of her participants she strives to foster independence, confidence, and life skills.
In addition to teaching, Chasidy creates riding/horsemanship curriculum and organizes and runs BINA Farm Center’s vacation programs. Her curriculum is tailored to all needs and abilities and has the whole horse and rider in mind. Chasidy’s ultimate goal for each participant is that they don’t just understand how to ride but understand horsemanship and how to take care of their equine partners they are working with. She loves ensuring that all participants become one with the horse and stay in the moment, using techniques that focus on being in tune with their breath and emotions both on and off the horse.
During her time off Chasidy enjoys spending time with her horse Gracie Girl and cat Savannah, and loves farming, hiking, fairs, and spending time with her family. She also works as a Real Estate Agent, helping families find their dream homes.
